Lipotherapy is a non-surgical method to target specific fat deposit areas. The ingredients are injected to specific areas dissolves the fat. The medication injected causes the fat to be emulsified, metabolized and subsequently excreted from the body. Each treatment takes about 20-30 minutes depending on the areas being treated. Two to 6 treatments are usually required, depending on the area being treated. There is no down time after the treatment, but itching, bruising, and redness for a few days is normal.
